Football Game Preview: KIPP Cooper Norcross Titans vs. Ewing Blue Devils

The KIPP Cooper Norcross Titans will head out to face off against the Ewing Blue Devils on Friday. KIPP Cooper Norcross knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Ewing likes a good challenge.

KIPP Cooper Norcross is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 74-22 victory over Lindenwold. Considering the Titans have won three matchups by more than 29 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

KIPP Cooper Norcross' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jykhai Boyd, who rushed for 80 yards and one score, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. Boyd's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Michael Morton Jr got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

KIPP Cooper Norcross didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Torey Jones and Morton Jr. Jones got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for KIPP Cooper Norcross, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Boyd, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Ewing had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 27-13 victory over the Tornadoes.

Ewing now has a winning record of 3-2. As for KIPP Cooper Norcross, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Things could have been worse for KIPP Cooper Norcross, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 33-14 loss to Ewing in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
