Soccer Recap: Pingree Comes Up Short

Pingree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portsmouth Abbey Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Portsmouth Abbey this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in September.

Pingree's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Portsmouth Abbey, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pingree will welcome Wheeler at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Portsmouth Abbey, they will square off against Rocky Hill Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
