Soccer Game Preview: Timnath vs. Greeley Central

The Timnath Cubs will face off against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Timnath is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.

Timnath's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Berthoud with a sharp 5-0 win. The result kept Timnath happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 12th.

They hit Berthoud with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Natalie Washburn (2), Lily Eisbrener (2), and Maia Kub.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greeley Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Wellington on Tuesday.

Timnath has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Greeley Central, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4-2 and their overall record up to 3-8-3.
