Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Anthony Harper and Stone Loosvelt Lead Riverfield Country Day to Victory

Riverfield Country Day took a 62-point loss the last time they faced off against Dewar, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Riverfield Country Day Ravens sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 win over the Dewar Dragons on Monday. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Riverfield Country Day was led to victory by Stone Loosvelt and Anthony Harper. Loosvelt went 6-for-11 to rack up 20 points, while Harper posted seven points along with five assists and five steals. Harper is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Alex Findley, who earned seven points.

Riverfield Country Day's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. As for Dewar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6.
