Basketball Recap: West Fork's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

West Fork was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Terry on Friday. The West Fork Gators ended the year with a bang, routing the Terry Rangers 54-32. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while the Rangers are ranked 1534th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the victory, West Fork broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7. As for Terry, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Orangefield the next time they take the court. Terry will head out to face Orangefield at 1:50 p.m. on Friday, while West Fork will play them later in the day, at 9:50 a.m.
