Volleyball Recap: International Wins Going Away Against Providence Cristo Rey

International won the last time they faced Providence Cristo Rey and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gryphons put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win.

International not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Providence Cristo Rey between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

International's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Providence Cristo Rey, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. International is set to face off against their familiar foe Greenwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. Meanwhile, Providence Cristo Rey will challenge rival Indianapolis Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
