Volleyball Preview: Cheyenne Desert Shields vs. Cristo Rey St. Viator Royals

Cheyenne is 4-0 against Cristo Rey St. Viator since August of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Cheyenne has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Cheyenne took their victory against Cristo Rey St. Viator in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cheyenne since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
