Volleyball Game Preview: West Field Longhorns vs. Box Elder Bees

The West Field Longhorns will face off against the Box Elder Bees at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

West Field barely beat Logan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Longhorns were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grizzlies on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Longhorns as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Field never let Logan on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Box Elder waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Box Elder walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-19.

West Field's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Box Elder, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2.
