Basketball Recap: Founders Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Founders Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Lead Hill Tigers, falling 93-48. Founders Classical Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-26.

It was another big night for Noah Royce, who went 9 for 15 from beyond the arc on his way to 41 points in addition to six steals and five assists for Lead Hill. Royce has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Kaden Baker was another key player, going 8 of 10 en route to 19 points and three blocks.

Founders Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lead Hill, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Founders Classical Academy has already played their next contest (against Deer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lead Hill has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Omaha.
