Baseball Recap: South Summit Takes a Loss

South Summit lost against Grantsville back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. South Summit came up short against Grantsville, falling 11-1.

South Summit saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Larsen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

South Summit has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Grantsville and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

While South Summit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
