Football Recap: Pinecrest Academy Cadence Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Pinecrest Academy Cadence's offense. They came up short against the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners on Saturday, falling 20-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Leyton Gasperosky threw for 63 yards while completing 76.9% of her passes. Elise Kemble was her top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Amelia Woolard rushed for 35 yards.

It was another big night for Leyla Randolph, who threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown for Southeast Career Tech.

Palo Verde is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.4 points per game this season. After both having extra time off, Southeast Career Tech and Arbor View will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 8:00 a.m. on January 2, 2025. Southeast Career Tech's defense has only allowed 7.4 points per game this season, so Arbor View's offense will have their work cut out for them.
