Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lawrence County was the 3-0 winner over Russellville when they last played one another on September 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils came up short against the Golden Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-20.

Alivia Terry paced Lawrence County's offense, picking up eight kills. Terry got some help from Ava Templeton and her 12 assists. Templeton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lawrence County's loss dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Russellville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lawrence County and Russellville will both be playing Lexington the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will head out to face the Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
