Volleyball Recap: Ponderosa Comes Up Short

Ponderosa lost against Mountain Vista two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ponderosa took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-15.

Jake Sherrill paced Ponderosa's offense, picking up four kills. Sherrill got some help from Wesley Bolline and his 11 assists.

Ponderosa's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Mountain Vista, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Ponderosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Legend on the 29th. As for Mountain Vista, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Eaglecrest on the 28th.
