Recap: Council Grove Braves vs. Lyndon Tigers
Council Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. Their rough 10-4 defeat to the Lyndon Tigers might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Council Grove of the 8-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Thursday.
Marlee Gant was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Faith Blosser was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and an RBI.
