Volleyball Game Preview: Lindhurst Blazers vs. Woodland Christian Cardinals

The Lindhurst Blazers will venture away from home to face off against the Woodland Christian Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Lindhurst came up short against Mesa Verde on Monday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Woodland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Golden Sierra.

Woodland Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-21.

Woodland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lindhurst, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Lindhurst came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodland Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lindhurst since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
