Recap: Ontario Warriors vs. Fredericktown Freddies
The Ontario Warriors's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They snuck past Fredericktown with a 52-48 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ontario also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Fredericktown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cally Carpenter, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Carpenter hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Ella Bouton, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Fredericktown struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Ontario's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Fredericktown, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ontario will take on Galion at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Galion is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Fredericktown, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Danville at 6:00 p.m.
