Softball Recap: Oak Grove Takes a Loss

Oak Grove lost against Northwest Rankin on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oak Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jersey Ancalade, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Northwest Rankin, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.

Coincidentally, Oak Grove and Northwest Rankin will both be playing Brandon the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
