Volleyball Recap: South Kitsap Wolves vs. Union Titans

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tahoma, South Kitsap was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Union Titans. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

South Kitsap had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.

South Kitsap kept the net locked down and finished the game with 24 blocks. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now had at least five blocks in 60 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

South Kitsap is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9-1 record this season. As for Union, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
