Softball Recap: Glendale Nitros vs. Muir Mustangs
Glendale lost against Muir back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Glendale Nitros wound up on the wrong side of a tough 20-1 walloping at the hands of the Muir Mustangs. Glendale has not had much luck with Muir recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

On Muir's side, they got a massive performance out of Abigail (Abi) Milton, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel (Shorty) Flores, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4.
Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Muir, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-10.
Glendale will take on Hoover at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Glendale is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Muir, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat vs. Arcadia on the 20th.
