Volleyball Recap: Bedford Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dexter, Bedford was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Walled Lake Western Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Kicking Mules, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lucy Monahan paced Bedford's offense, picking up six kills. Monahan got some help from Olivia Eby and her eight assists. Ellerie King controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Bedford's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Walled Lake Western, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Bedford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Cass Tech on the 27th. As for Walled Lake Western, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Stoney Creek on the 27th.
