Volleyball Game Preview: Gooding Senators vs. Kimberly Bulldogs

Gooding hasn't had much luck against Kimberly recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Senators will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Gooding came up short against Buhl on Monday, falling 3-0.

Gooding took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Kimberly sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Filer on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Kimberly had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 20-25, 29-27, 25-16, 15-10.

Gooding's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Kimberly, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Gooding suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Kimberly in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Senators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
