Basketball Recap: McDonogh Triumphs

St. Paul came into Monday's match looking for another win against McDonogh, but Rob Fields wouldn't allow it. The McDonogh Eagles came out on top against the St. Paul's Crusaders by a score of 66-53 on Monday thanks in part to Fields, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Those five assists gave him a new career-high.

McDonogh now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Paul's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

McDonogh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-45 victory against Rosedale Christian Academy on the 12th. St. Paul's has also already played their next game, a 70-55 win against Chapelgate Christian Academy on the 12th.
