Basketball Recap: Westosha Central Comes Up Short

If Westosha Central was riding high fresh off their 65-35 takedown of Wilmot last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Westosha Central Falcons fell 57-45 to the Badger Badgers on Tuesday. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Badgers earlier this season, when they won 67-62.

Westosha Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Badger, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Westosha Central and Badger should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Westosha Central (ranked 84th) will meet Beloit Memorial (ranked 206th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Badger will square off against Wilmot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 248 places (117 vs. 365).
