Nansemond-Suffolk Academy is a perfect 10-0 against Cape Henry Collegiate since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Saints will venture away from home to face off against the Dolphins at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Konikoff is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leylana Dininny, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Cape Henry Collegiate always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .649. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .553 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Everything went Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's way against Cape Henry Collegiate when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Nansemond-Suffolk Academy made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
