Basketball Recap: Sheridan Takes a Loss

Sheridan lost against Tri-Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sheridan Generals were outmatched by the Tri-Valley Scotties and fell 82-48. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Scotties are ranked 85th).

This is the second loss in a row for Sheridan and nudges their season record down to 9-8. As for Tri-Valley, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheridan has already played their next match (against Newark Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tri-Valley will face off against John Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in John Glenn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
