Vienna had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 40-35 victory over the Massac County Patriots on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 48-37 victory back in January.

Despite the loss, Massac County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jude Harmon shot 40% from the field en route to 18 points. With that strong performance, Harmon is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game.

Vienna is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season. Massac County moved to 14-18 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
