Volleyball Recap: Greenway Demons vs. Paradise Honors Panthers
Greenway lost against Paradise Honors back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Demons fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Greenway took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 15-7.
Jarvaris Davis paced Greenway's offense, picking up 11 kills. Davis got some help from Daniel Hoang and his 32 assists. Jordan Mata controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Paradise Honors was led to victory by Julian Artelli and Parker LaChance. Artelli had 13 digs and one assist, while LaChance had 13 kills, ten digs, and four aces. LaChance is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least six every time he's taken the court this season.
Greenway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Paradise Honors, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Greenway has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Agua Fria on the 10th. As for Paradise Honors, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Moon Valley on the 10th.
