Baseball Recap: Bethlehem Catholic Wins Going Away Against Pleasant Valley

Bethlehem Catholic was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Pleasant Valley on Monday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 8-2 victory. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Bethlehem Catholic let Bryce Blawn and Collin Peacock run wild. Blawn went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Peacock went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Bethlehem Catholic is 4-1 when Peacock posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Richards, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
