Basketball Recap: Perry Bluejays vs. Greene County Rams
Perry took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They blew past the Greene County Rams 65-32. The Bluejays pushed the score to 57-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Perry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Myers, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Geren Kenney, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Perry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-64 win against Ogden on the 5th. Greene County has also already played their next game, a 71-29 loss against Grand View Christian on the 6th.
