Corban Avants Game Report: vs Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Corban Avants: he recorded his first sack on Saturday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), but sadly Midstate Homeschool still had to take a 54-26 loss at the hands of Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool. We certainly expect to see more performances from Avants considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Coming up, Avants and Midstate Homeschool will challenge Freedom Life Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
