Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Spencerville

The Jefferson Wildcats will take on the Spencerville Bearcats in a tournament on Tuesday. Jefferson will be strutting in after a victory while Spencerville will be coming in after a loss.

Jefferson will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Thursday, then bounced right back against Lima Central Catholic on Monday. The Wildcats blew past the Thunderbirds 5-1. Kyah Kimmett was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Spencerville fell victim to Anna and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Rockets. Spencerville haven't had much luck with Anna recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Spencerville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-3. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 6-9-1.
