University and St. Albans squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but University had to settle for second. They lost 70-48 to the St. Albans Red Dragons. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Jaycee Elzy, who went 12-for-21 en route to 27 points and five rebounds for St. Albans. That's the most points Elzy has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Triniti Austin-Russell, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and six boards.

University's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for St. Albans, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Albans beat University by a score of 70-48 on Wednesday.
