Soccer Recap: La Sierra Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, La Sierra was not quite Norte Vista's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Norte Vista Braves by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for La Sierra and nudges their season record down to 3-6-1. As for Norte Vista, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the La Sierra duke it out with the Rubidoux at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Sierra is facing Rubidoux at the right time seeing as Rubidoux is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Norte Vista, they will venture away from home to face off against Jurupa Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
