NV - Old Tappan had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Sparta Spartans on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Knights sure are getting used to it with their 29th in a row dating back to last season.

NV - Old Tappan wouldn't go down easily and took Sparta into a fifth set where they got it done with a 16-point win. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-14, 20-25, 20-25, 25-9.

Coming up, NV - Old Tappan will take on Livingston at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday. Sparta has already played their next match (against Jefferson Township), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
