Softball Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont's tournament run continued when they took on Providence Hall on Saturday. The Longhorns lost 9-2 to the Patriots. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Altamont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preslee Thacker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Altamont's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Providence Hall, they moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Altamont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Providence Hall, they will challenge North Summit at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
