Baseball Game Preview: West Warwick Wizards vs. Central Knights

The West Warwick Wizards will head out on the road to face off against the Central Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. West Warwick's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, West Warwick wound up with the same score they had in their last game (2-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The loss was their first of the season.

West Warwick saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Proulx, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Those hits were Proulx's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Central strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Chariho a 3-0 shutout. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for West Warwick, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
