Mount de Sales Academy hadn't done well against John Carroll recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Sailors walked away with a 12-8 win over the Patriots. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Sailors considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Ava McQueen was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Olivia Berger, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Mount de Sales Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for John Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
