There's no place like home for Nipmuc Regional, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Millbury Woolies on Friday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Woolies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-27, 25-15, 25-18.

Nipmuc Regional's offense was headlined by Annabel Palmer and Kayleigh Fountain, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Gabrielle Leet and her 30 assists. Fountain also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maya Vercruysse, racking up four apiece.

Nipmuc Regional's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Millbury, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Nipmuc Regional is taking a road trip to face off against Weston at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Millbury, they will venture away from home to take on Wachusett Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
