Tullahoma had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Wednesday. They blew past the Giles County Bobcats 11-3. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Mason Bratcher was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-5. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Phillip Lemon, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Schmisseur, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Tullahoma hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Giles County struck out 14 times.

Tullahoma's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Giles County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Coming up, Tullahoma will head out to face off against Coffee County Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Giles County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rocket City at 4:30 p.m. The Bobcats are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
