Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Ripley's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Ripley waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Corinth Warriors by a score of 68-60. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Warriors are ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ripley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Corinth, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ripley will head out to challenge New Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Corinth, they will take on Mooreville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
