Basketball Recap: Largo Victorious

Largo won the last time they faced Pinellas Park, and Ana Leka did her part to make sure it happened again. The Largo Packers walked away with a 46-36 victory over the Pinellas Park Patriots on Friday thanks in part to Leka, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Largo's points.

Another player making a difference was Ava Bliss, who posted six points and ten rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in January.

Largo's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Pinellas Park, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Largo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-42 loss against Palm Harbor University on the 10th. As for Pinellas Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-35 defeat against Northside Christian on the 9th.
