Basketball Recap: Chloe Koch's Big Game Can't Quite Lead York over Seward

York was the 47-33 winner over Seward when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The York Dukes fell 45-36 to the Seward Bluejays on Tuesday.

York's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Koch, who posted seven points and seven boards. Koch is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addison Andersen, who put up eight points.

York's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 22-3. As for Seward, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither York nor Seward have any future games scheduled.
