Baseball Recap: Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool and Cincinnati Christian meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Trailblazers fell 5-2 to the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-6 loss two weeks ago.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool's record now sits at 24-7. As for Cincinnati Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool will challenge Elder at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cincinnati Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Norwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
