Soccer Recap: Tartan Comes Up Short

Tartan lost against Simley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. While losing is never fun, Tartan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Simley are ranked 13th).

Tartan now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Simley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1.

Coming up, Tartan will head out on the road to challenge Two Rivers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Simley, they will challenge South St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
