Basketball Game Preview: Denbigh Patriots vs. Kecoughtan Warriors

Denbigh hasn't had much luck against Kecoughtan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Denbigh Patriots just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Kecoughtan Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Denbigh will be strutting in after a victory while Kecoughtan will be coming in after a loss.

Denbigh is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Warhill 52-21 on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Patriots' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 370th, while the Lions are ranked 174th).

Meanwhile, Kecoughtan took a blow against Warwick on Monday, falling 54-24. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Denbigh picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-18. As for Kecoughtan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Denbigh came up short against Kecoughtan in their previous matchup back in January, falling 46-40. Can Denbigh avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
