Baseball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. Evadale Rebels

Warren won the last time they faced Evadale and things went their way on Monday too. The Warren Warriors came out on top against the Evadale Rebels by a score of 11-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Parker Brocato was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. Those 16 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Kolbyn Bennett was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Easton Evans was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Warren kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evadale onlymanaged one hit.

Warren's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Warren will take on Lumberton in a tournament on Thursday. As for Evadale, they will square off against Buna at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
