Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield was the 2-1 winner over Trinity Christian when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Lions on Saturday.

While Fairfield ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Trinity Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will face off against Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trinity Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Monahans at 12:30 p.m. on September 6.
