Basketball Recap: Boyne Falls Takes a Loss

Boyne Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Mackinaw City Comets, falling 52-14. The Loggers lost against the Comets in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-12 score last time.

Boyne Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mackinaw City, they pushed their record up to 7-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Boyne Falls has already played their next contest (against Harbor Light Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mackinaw City has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Ellsworth.
