Falls City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds 69-41. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Falls City lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Keifer Adams, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Quenton Adams, who put up eight points.

Falls City's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Johnson County Central, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falls City will welcome Auburn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Auburn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Johnson County Central, they will face off against Fairbury at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
