Basketball Recap: Montoursville Warriors vs. Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES
Montoursville and Mount Carmel squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Montoursville had to settle for second. They fell 67-54 to the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the RED TORNADOES recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount Carmel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jude Lazicki, who went 13-for-21 on his way to 30 points and five rebounds. Lazicki's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Jaylen Delaney was another key player, putting up 16 points and eight assists.
Montoursville now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Mount Carmel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
